GED Diploma Program

This program prepares students for the GED exams. On a regular basis, the GED exams are given on-site. The program is open to our community and is an evening program.

GED Preparation and Testing

What are the GED Tests?
The GED tests are five tests in the areas of Language Arts-Writing, Language Arts-Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics.

You are eligible to take the tests if you are not enrolled in and have not graduated from high school. For Minnesota residents, the fee is $75.

Requirements in Minnesota:

At least 19 years of age or an age waiver*
Resident of Minnesota
Minnesota driver’s license, passport or State ID card with picture, date and place of residence

GED Preparation Classes

General Education Development (GED) is a self-paced program designed to help you study and prepare to take the GED test. If you already have a GED or high school diploma, you may want to upgrade your skills.

When are classes held?
Tuesdays — 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Wed. & Thurs. — 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Come when you can! You don’t have to attend the entire time.

How do I get started?
Please call to find out how you can get started or come to the Harmony Learning Center during the following registration times: Mondays, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 7 p.m.

How long will it take to earn my GED?
The time needed to complete the GED varies for each student.
